Dear HealthSpring Fitness Member:

We have exciting news to share with you! We have established a partnership with Active Wellness and plan to reopen our fitness center this summer. It will have a new name: Active Wellness Center at NorthBay Health.

We know it has been a long time coming, and we thank you for your patience. As you know, HealthSpring Fitness closed in March 2020 when the pandemic kicked into high gear. We parted ways with the company that was managing it. When other gyms started to reopen in June 2021, NorthBay began looking for the right management partner. We believe we’ve found it in Active Wellness.

Based in San Francisco, Active Wellness operates 50 fitness centers across the country, including the Active Wellness Centers in Napa and Petaluma. Active Wellness partners with medical organizations to inspire healthier lives and support expert rehabilitation. Their services function as a liaison between hospitals, physicians and patients to support whole-person health care.

We look forward to opening the doors again this summer to a new and improved medical fitness center.
